There are many well credited nurseries, schools and academies in and around Islington. A few to name are Canonbury Primary, St Mary Magdalene Academy, Scared Heart Primary, St Mary’s CofE Primary, William Tyndale is Islington’s most sought after primary school- rated overall ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Eating out
Finsbury Park has a large selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from. You will often find a queue outside Dotori serving up some of Islington’s tastiest Korean and Japanese cuisine. Based only a few minutes’ walk from Finsbury Park tube station, Pasta Remoli is a family run restaurant offering eat in and take away fresh homemade pasta. The Faltering Full Back is one of London’s most famous pubs, a well loved traditional Irish Pub with a fantastic beer garden, voted in timeouts Top 10 pubs. The Fullback plays live sports as well as live music, also popular with Arsenal fans for a match day beer. Green spaces
Finsbury Park open space is one of Islington largest parks, created In 1841 for the people of Finsbury on the northern perimeter of the City of London. The park includes a large lake, walking paths and an outdoor gym. The park is also the perfect place for sports enthusiasts, within the park you will find a running track, baseball field, tennis and basketball courts. The Parkland Walk provides a pedestrian and cycle route that links Finsbury park with Crouch Hill Park, Crouch End, and Highgate Underground station. The perfect for a run or walk in the sunshine.
